This platter is RETIRED.  This platter would make any table look right for the holidays.  The outer border is a dark blue with small snowflakes spread around the border.  There are also little tiny black dots spread around the rim.  The platter is basically white with blue and white coloring around the bottom third of the platter.  In the background behind the penguin and snowman are three Christmas trees with three different colored ornaments on them.  There is a coloring of yellow behind the tree.  The penguin is wearing a plaid blue. white, and yellow scarf with a red cap with plaid of red and blue around the rim of the cap.  The snowman has on a black hat with red scarf and gloves.  The saying at the bottom of the platter states in black lettering:  Friends are the greatest gift of all.  At each end of the saying is a mistletoe plant.  The measurement of the platter is 14.6"  x  11.1".  This item is a hand painted ceramic.
