This Best Teacher ornament is by Mary Engelbreit. It is about 3.5" x 3.5". This ornament has a yellow number 2 pencil with an eraser on one side of a slate. The pencil is sharpened  and ready to go. On the pencil is a red cottage rose flower.  At the top of the slate is the Alphabet Letters A,B C in the colors of red, yellow, and blue. In the middle are two red cherries with two green leaves. On the other side at the top are the numbers 1, 2, 3. They are in the colors of purple, orange and green. On the opposite bordering the slate is a red crayon with a red cottage rose flower on either side with the word CRAYON printed in yellow on a white background. There is a black and white border that goes around the inside portion of the slate. The bottom part of the slate is a part of a yellow ruler. On the inside of the slate in the upper left corner is a red star with one dots and a very small yellow star. In the lower left of the slate is a green book with an apple on top. At the very bottom of the state is a sign hanging  with blue letters with a yellow spot between the words BEST TEACHER. The background is white. At the very top of the slate is a yellow star. This ornament is Retired.
